BABATUNDE OSHO — CHIEF ENTERPRISE SOLUTION OFFICER
He is has quite an experience in the corporate world. He was already in the telecommunications industry before the liberalization of the sector in Nigeria. He was a senior Manager at WorldCom, a telecommunications company with headquarters in Washington DC, United States of America. From 1998 to 2001, he joined MTN 2006 and become General Manager shortly. He attained his present position in 2011. His academic experience, run through the University of Oxford –Business school, University of Pennsylvania – the Wharton school of Economics and Political Science.
OMATSOLA BARROW—Sales and Distribution Executive
Fondly known as Tsola, he has garnered quite an experience in corporate Nigeria, working in almost every sector. He was the Ibadan District manager, for GlaxoSmithKline consumer Plc. from 1998 to 1999. He was Regional Lagos for GlaxoSmithline from 1999 to 2003. He was also Business Development Manager at GlaxoSmithckline Consumer Nigeria Plc from 2003 to 2005. He moves to the Oil and Gas sector where he was the Chief Marketing Officer, Commercial, for OandO Plc from 2005 to 2008. Before his current position at MTN, he was the Area Head of Marketing and Distribution, British America Tobacco Company.
RICHARD IWEANOGE – General Manager, Business Development
A graduate of the University of Benin, he joined MTN at the early stage in 2002 as senior Sales Manager, Sales Channel. He became General Manager, Consumer Sales in 2010 until he attained his current position in June this year.
KOLAWOLE OYEYEME – General Manager, Consumer Marketing
Though he doesn’t hold the same position that Afam Edozie held in MTN while he was there, it seems Baba Kay as colleagues call him, has finally filled the big shoe after h left there as a strong face for MTN. He has emerged as one of the most formidable marketing communications personalities in Nigeria. He attained his current position in 2007, after Olu Akanmu left the company.
BABALOLA OYELEYE – General Manager, Procurement & Support Services, Finance
Babalola has earned his mettle in the corporate world and has worked for some of the best reputable organizations before he joined MTN. he is currently the General Manager, Procurement and Support Services, Finance.
LADIPO NYLANDER – General Manager, Enterprise Marketing, Enterprise Solutions
Ladipo Nylander is also one great professional who has risen through the corporate ladder in Nigeria to reach his current position. As the General Manager, Enterprise Marketing, Enterprise Solution, Ladipo had taken MTN’s Enterprise solutions to greater height.
ISMAIL NWOKOCHA – General Manager; Treasury, Finance
Ishmael Nwokocha has garnered over a decade’s experience in financial Management through working first in the oil and gas sector and then in the telecommunications sector. Ishmael joined MTN in 2002 as Cash Management Accountant as one of the pioneer members of the MTN Treasury department, he was a key part of the team that coordinated the company’s project finance deals in 2003 and 2004. He was subsequently promoted to Corporate Finance Manager Ishmael is currently the Head of Treasury overseeing Banking Services, Treasury Operations. Corporate Finance, Financial and operational risk management for MTN Nigeria.
MODUPE KADRI – General Manager, Finance
He was the financial controller of Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria Plc and later became the Business Development Manager of the same company. He joined MTN in 2007 as a General Manager.
GIDEON OBHAKAN – General Manager, Network planning, network Group
After Lynda Saint-Obi was elevated to the position of Chief Technical Officer of MTN last year, Gideon was brought in to fill up her former position and deserves every of it. He has risen through the ranks to become one of Nigeria’s best telecommunications engineers.
VICTOR DUGUWA – General Manager CPC, Capital Programms Management
A self-motivated world-class chartered mechanical engineer and doctor of engineering with over 15 years experience in senior management. He is now working as a General Manager in one of the fastest growing telecommunications organization in emerging Africa. He joined MTN in 2004 as Head of Design and Value Engineering and attained his current position 2007.
AUSTIN IYASHERE – Senior Manager, Government Affairs, Corporate Services
Since he became the Senior Manager, Government Affairs, he has been doing a good job liaising between MTN Nigeria and the governments at different level in Nigeria. Despite a lot of pressure in the relationship sometime, he has achieved a kind of cordial relationship between his company and the government of the day.
JACOB SOMOYE – Senior Manager; ES Product Management, Enterprise Solutions
Jacob has worked for some of the most reputable organization in Nigeria before joining MTN. As a Senior Manager, he has proved his mettle in Product Management, helping to make sure that the best products are not only available but they are pushed to the right segment of the society.

OLAOLUWA OSUNDINA – Senior Manager, Trade Communications, Marketing
A Bio-Chemistry graduate of the University of Ibadan, he was the Regional Trade Marketing Manager at Nigerian breweries plc n 2007. He later became the Regional Marketing Manager of MTN before attaining his current position as a Senior Manager.
GBENGA OLALANDU – Senior Manager Sales and Distribution
He joined MTN Nigeria from Procter and Gamble where he was Multifunctional Team IT System Manager in 2004. He was the Channel Manager until 2008 when he became the Senior Manager, Sales. He later became the Senior Manager, Sales Channel.
ABIODUN OGUNLABI – Senior Manager, VAS, Data & Content Development Marketing
Prior to joining MTN, he worked at Procter & Gumble as a Brand Manager and was responsible for introducing riel detergent in Nigeria and Ghana. He also worked on several other initiatives while at Procter & Gumble including the design of Vicks Blue brand and Principles snacks. He joined MTN as Market Manager in 2007 and became Head of Mobile Money in 2008. He attained his current position in 2011.

He is one of those who have helped to taken MTN to an enviable position as far as telecommunication services is concerned in Nigeria. He has risen through the ranks in the corporate world to become a senior manager in MTN.

He is one of those who have made the Network Group a pride of the company. He has worked in some of the most reputable organization before he pitched his tent with MTN, where he rose to his current position in record time.
VICTOR OKOBI – Senior Manager, Corporate segment Marketing, Enterprise Solutions
He is the Senior Manager and HOD, Enterprise Network Solutions Division, Network Group at MTN Nigeria Communication Limited. He earned Executive MBA at Lagos Business School.
FUNSO AINA PR & Protocol Manager
Funsho can well be described public relations personified. Amiable, he is one man who knows his onions as far the field of PR is concerned. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Masters degree in International Relations has garnered over 16 years work experience in Journalism, Cultural diplomacy and Telecommunication. He joined MTN Nigeria in January 2009 as External Communications Officer. Before joining MTN, Funso was the Communications Manager of British Council. Funso made his mark in Journalism winning laurels locally and internationally. He was at different times, punch Newspapers’ Chief Correspondent in Aso Rock (Presidential Villa), Abuja; Foreign Affairs Correspondent and a member of the newspaper’s Editorial Board. He was also Assistant Editor with The Nation Newspapers and Senior Reporter with Independent Communications Network Limited, publishers of The News, Tempo magazines and PM Newspapers.
OSAZE EBUEKU – Manager; Mobile Money and Rural Telephony
The veer smiling Osaze has been working for MTN for a couple of years after a stint in other reputable organizations. He was the Brand/Segment – Professionals from 2009, until some kind of redeployment in MTN, where he attained his current position.
INNOCENT OBOH – Master Brand Manager
He has been a good apostle for MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd since he set his foot in that company. He set his foot in that company. He has garnered a lot of experience building powerful brands in Nigeria before he joined MTN. At MTN, he has helped in a great way in moving the company’s products and services forward.
ALEXANDER IBEHRE – Manager; ES Brand & Communications
Marketing communications and human resources have made Alex a well rounded business manager. He is quite experience in revenue generating and support functions comprising consulting and business development. He joined MTN in 2006 as a Human Resources Operations Manager, after his job at Virgin Nigeria Airways as a Training Manager. He attained his current position in 2010.
ABASI-EKONG UDOBANG MTN Foundation Portfolio Manager, Health
A graduate of the University of Lagos, Abasi-Ekong Udobang, he worked at United Bank of Africa Foundations and also at the Negris Limited before joining MTN Nigeria. He was a pioneer staff of MTN Nigeria until he left the company in 2006. After a stint with a couple of reputable organizations, he came back to MTN in 2009 and became an MTN Foundation Manager. Prior to his return to MTN, he rose to the position of Chief Marketing Officer, Crown Real Estate.

There are probably few hands that have the kind of experience this man has in regulatory affairs in the Nigerian telecommunications industry. He has not only worked in some of the most reputable companies in the country, he has worked in different telecommunications companies both in Nigeria and outside the country. He worked in Zain Nigeria before he joined MTN. He is a telecommunications Regulatory Professional. He is focused on regulatory risk and compliance management.

This is one of the Big Boys who have taken the Enterprise Solutions segment of MTN to greater heights.
DENNIS CHUKWU, Channel Manager, Sales & Distribution
Quite an experienced hand in sales and distribution, he has helped in maintaining a very professional relationship between MTN and its partners. He joined MTN few years ago and has risen through the ranks.
JOHN ANYAFULU –Channel Manager – Technology, Sales Distribution
He has done a great job since he joined MTN. He rose through the ranks to his current position in MTN.
