A Chicago man has been charged with a felony for having sex with a pit bull while touring a Chicago pound.
Authorities say 50-year-old Gerardo Perez was visiting the Chicago
Animal Care and Control Facility when he broke from his touring group
and entered a restricted area. After being spotted, Perez was asked to
leave the facility. The man then managed to get back in and was later
caught in a cage with a white and grey pit bull. According to
prosecutors, the employee found Perez “on his hands and knees on the
side of the dog,” appearing to have just had sex with the canine. Perez
then made “inculpatory statements” regarding sexual conduct with the dog
to other employees on the scene.
Perez was arrested at his home on Friday. Bail has been set for $80,000.
